What can I expect
from my session?
FUN! We want to make this a wonderful
experience for you!
What else can I
bring?
Hats, friends, pets, uniforms, musical
instruments, hobbies, sunglasses, your
car, letter jackets, etc. Whatever makes
you unique.
What about hair,
make up and glasses?
Bring lensless frames if possible. Give
a haircut or hairdo a couple of days
to relax and grow out. Guys, remember
to have a fresh shave. Gals, use slightly
more make up, but don't overdo it.
What if it rains?
Go ahead with your indoor session as
planned and we will do the outdoor session
another day. Overcast days are just
as good as sunny ones. If the weather
is too bad we will reschedule the session.
Most of the time the weather here is
favorable for outdoors photography.
Cloudy or overcast days are wonderful
for outdoors portraits. We may decide
to shoot indoors. We usually only cancel
if it is raining.
When can I see my
portrait session?
You can see it within 7-14 days following
your session.
Can I order enlargements
from my portrait sitting?
Yes, you will receive an order form
with your images to order enlargements.
Please follow the instructions on the
form.
Don't I have to
go to the school's photographer for
my senior portraits?
No, you don't. Some schools allow photographs
from other studios in the yearbook.
Others do not. If your school doesn't
allow any photos in the yearbook that
aren't from the school's photographer,
then you shouldn't pay just to be in
the yearbook. By law, no one can tell
you where to spend your money!
I would really like
a portrait of me with my pet and/or
one of my friends. Can we do that?
Yes! Your senior portraits should reflect
who you are and help you remember a
special time in your life so you can
bring along a pet and a friend at no
additional charge.
How long will my
sitting take?
The time allotted for your sitting will
depend on which sitting you choose.
An average basic sitting will take thirty
to forty five minutes.
What if I have more
questions?
Call or email us. You are important
to us and we want you to make an informed
decision.
What happens if
I have to cancel my session?
We understand that things change and
we are willing to make schedule changes
if that happens. However we can at certain
times of the year be extremely busy
and it may be months before we can reschedule
your session. If at all possible before
you book a session make sure that your
schedule is clear the day you book your
session.
When do I have to
pay for my session?
We require you pay for your session
fee up front. We accept cash, checks
and credit cards. (MC/Visa)
What if I don't
like my portraits?
We GURANTEE all of our work and want
you to love your portraits. If you are
not happy we are not happy and will
gladly reshoot the session again. Please
let us know before you accept and leave
with your session album and we will
schedule a reshoot or refund your money.
If you accept your session album and
leave we cannot offer a refund.
How do I pay for
my session?
We accept cash, checks, Mastercard or
Visa.
Should I bring my
mom or dad to my session?
We HIGHLY recommend bringing one parent.
Actually, we prefer that at least one
parent be present the whole time. A
parent is a valuable assistant for you
during the photo shoot.
How long has Joe
Vavak Photography been in business?
We have been in business for over 25
years.
